National Debate Forum was created around a simple belief

Young people shouldn’t have to wait until adulthood to learn how to communicate like leaders.

Through debate, Model United Nations, public speaking and competitive communication experiences, students are challenged to analyse issues, defend ideas, understand opposing perspectives and communicate under pressure.

Our goal is bigger than creating tournament winners. We want to create independent thinkers. Confident communicators. Responsible competitors. And young people willing to participate in the conversations shaping their world.

Our philosophy

Competition should build people, not just rankings.

Winning matters. Students should want to win. They should prepare harder, think faster and push themselves.

But a good competition should leave students with something even when they don’t take home a trophy. A stronger argument. A better speech. A lesson from a loss. A new friend. A new perspective. Or simply the courage to try again.
